The Math Lover’s Companion

This is a wonderfully written book of 23 distinct topics in mathematics. This is one of my favorite, non-rigorous math books. Edward Scheinerman makes each topic approachable for amateur mathematicians, but digs deep enough to satisfy more experienced mathematicians.
